What type of person is the Silver Performance Pack for?

This package is for people who are looking for a good HP gain and who care a little less about the intonation of their exhaust. Perfect also for those who want to get maximum gain without breaking their head. Choose from the options and assemble your own combo.

Why AMS air inlets?

AMS air intakes offer greater HP gains than the K&N Drop-in filters offered in the Bronze Performance Pack. These offer an OEM+ look

Down Pipes or HFC?

Down pipes are the best performing option in the Bronze Performance Pack. The HFCs replace the two stock downpipes with high flow ones and will therefore provide better airflow than stock. These are quieter than the down pipes, so for those wanting a quieter exhaust note we recommend considering this option.

Why do I need a heat exchanger?

Simply because the original one is tiny and does not fit at all if you add performance to the vehicle. Our best seller the Kanza is almost 3 times thicker than the original one. AMS is more ''OEM'' Fit ​​and almost the same performance as the Kanza. You will not notice any difference in the ''feeling'' of the car between the 2 models.

Which catback option should I take?

The very popular MBRP Pro Series exhaust line is equipped with 3 inch pipe, this one offers the best HP gain of the available options. The intonation remains civilized at low rpm with HFC or down pipes. The Invidia Gemini is built with 2.5 inch pipe, it offers less HP gain than the MBRP Pro Series. The intonation is less than the MBRP. The ISR exhausts are moderately noisy at low rpm.

Do I really need an AMS Drive Shaft?

Yes, if you want to leave with peace of mind. About 2 out of 3 customers have had breakages related to a damaged drive shaft. The immense torque at low revs of the VR30 can cause too much torsion at the central joint especially, but also at other places on it. When the threshold of 470-480wtq is reached, the original drive shaft risks being damaged. It will not explode into pieces, but it will vibrate at low revs and this can cause discomfort on the road. Some customers have tolerated it, others have immediately replaced the problematic part.

How much wheel HP does the Bronze Performance Pack provide?

Generally we are talking about a good 450-460 whp & 480-520wtq @17-19psi. (500wtq and + only available with Petro Canada 94 Octane gasoline)
FYI, a stock 2016-2023 Q50 3.0L Non Redsport does 300-310whp & 310-315wtq on our dyno.
This depends greatly on certain factors that we do not control.
