DS Series Coilovers utilize a proprietary tapered piston design that provides the driver with increased damping force at low piston speeds, which is what the driver actually feels when attacking their favorite track or a twisty mountain road. For decades in the racing industry, it has been common for drivers and engineers to look at low-speed piston speeds (0 mm/s to 50 mm/s) and break those numbers down as driver feel.

This means BC Racing can customize the DS Series Shock Absorber with spring rates, spring lengths, shock body and piston rod lengths, as well as alignment tools such as camber and caster adjustable top brackets. RA - Front Hairball Upper Mount / Rear Rubber Mount: More precise handling and steering, but stiffer ride characteristics in the front and comparable ride characteristics to the manufacturer in the rear. (Special Order, 2-3 weeks)
